Lansing E. Crane: Mr. Crane served as the Chief Executive Officer of Crane & Co., Inc., a manufacturer of specialty papers, from 1995 to 2007. He had previously served on its Board of Directors beginning in 1985 as the first, sixth generation member and the only member not employed at the company. Mr. Crane served on the Board for 22 years and was Chairman from 1993 to 2006. Prior to his career at Crane & Co., Mr. Crane practiced law in Connecticut for 25 years. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Wells’ Enterprises, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Ginsey Home Solutions, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of SOG Specialty Knives and Tools. He is also a Trustee of the Austen Riggs Center psychiatric hospital. He resides in Boulder, Colorado.
Ann Pelham Cullen: Ms. Pelham spent her professional career in the media industry, retiring in 2008 after 10 years as Publisher of Legal Times, a print and online newspaper focused on law and lobbying in Washington, D.C. She had previously worked at Legal Times, part of ALM, in several other capacities for almost 20 years, beginning as a reporter in 1988 and subsequently serving as Managing Editor, Executive Editor, and Associate Publisher prior to being named Publisher. She serves on the Duke Board of Trustees and is a past President of the Duke Alumni Association. She is also a former vice chair of the board of the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation. She currently resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Victor L. Lund: Mr. Lund has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Teradata since May 2016. In addition, Mr. Lund serves on the Boards of Service Corp International, Sauder Industries, Alsco, and Teradata. Mr. Lund spent 22 years with American Stores Company, a $20 billion grocery retailer, in various positions, including Chairman (1995-1999) and Chief Executive Officer (1992-1999), Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Controller. Prior to that time, Mr. Lund was a practicing audit CPA for five years. Following its acquisition of American Stores Company, he served as the Vice Chairman of Albertsons, Inc., a leading supermarket chain, from 1999 to 2000. Mr. Lund also served as Chairman for Mariner Healthcare, Inc. from May 2002 to December 2004. He currently resides in Park City, Utah.
David F. Pauly: Mr. Pauly served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Canal Insurance Company, Canal Indemnity Company, and the Wm. R. Timmons Agency from 2016 to 2017. Prior to joining Canal, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Capitol Insurance Companies, a position from which he retired in 2013, after serving for more than a decade with the company. Previously, Mr. Pauly served as Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Mutual (now Acuity Insurance), a company he initially joined as a claims adjuster, later serving in progressive leadership positions over a 20-year period. Mr. Pauly has numerous insurance industry credentials, including membership in the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He has been on the CIC faculty since 1983 and continues to teach CIC courses throughout the United States. He resides in Madison, Wisconsin, where he serves the local community as a Board Member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Dane County, WI.
William H. Pelham: Mr. Pelham is the Founder and President of Pelham Architects, LLC, as well as a Managing Partner of RPM Partnership, LLC. He currently serves as Board Chair and Building Committee Chair for Camperdown Academy, Vice President and Art Committee Chair of Artisphere, and Vice President of the Poinsett Club Foundation. He has served previously on a number of other boards, including the Peace Center, the Clemson University Foundation, the Clemson Architectural Foundation, BankGreenville, and the Greenville Museum Association. He currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina.
John R. Pollock: Mr. Pollock served as interim President and Chief Executive officer of Canal Insurance Company, Canal Indemnity Company and the Wm. R. Timmons Agency, LLC from November 2009 until November 2010. Mr. Pollock also previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Winterthur U.S. Holdings, the U.S. subsidiary of Winterthur Swiss Insurance Company from 2003 to 2007. Previously, beginning in 1988, he served as the President of General Casualty Insurance. Following Winterthur’s acquisition in 1990 of General Casualty Insurance, Mr. Pollock was made General Casualty’s Chief Executive Officer in 1997. He is the past Chairman and former member of the Board of Governors of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. He currently resides in Naples, Florida.
Charles M. Timmons, Jr.: Mr. Timmons served Canal Insurance Company, Canal Indemnity Company, and the Wm. R. Timmons Agency, LLC in various leadership positions between 1972 and 2009, and most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of those entities before retiring at the end of 2009. Mr. Timmons also previously served on the Boards of Canal Insurance Company, Canal Indemnity Company, Central Investments Corporation, the USC Business Partnership Foundation, and Greenville Artisphere. He currently serves on the USC Insurance School Advisory Board and resides in Greenville, South Carolina.
William R. Timmons, III: Mr. Timmons has served Canal Insurance Company, Canal Indemnity Company, and the Wm. R. Timmons Agency, LLC in various leadership positions since 1976, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Investments of each of those entities. He also serves as Secretary of Central Realty Corporation, President of Timber-lands, L.P. and Lullwater Syndicate, Inc. Mr. Timmons currently serves on the Boards of Timber-lands, Lullwater Syndicate, Inc., Canal Indemnity Company and Central Realty Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Furman University. He resides in Greenville, South Carolina.
